Degreasing & Passivation of stainless steel is performed on new installations and existing systems that have been modified. These types of systems are Purified Water, Clean Steam, CIP and Process. It is a chemical process which improves the life of the metal. Regular Passivation is recommended if there is a risk of rouge.
